By accessing or using tempmailpad.com (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

1. The Service

tempmailpad.com provides free, disposable temporary email addresses for receiving email. Anonymous inboxes are public and messages are deleted automatically after their retention window. Creating a free account adds saved inboxes and extended retention. The Service is provided free of charge; we do not sell subscriptions and do not collect payment details. 2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, or older where your local law requires a higher age of digital consent. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you are not barred from using it under any applicable law.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Break any law or infringe others’ rights;
• Send, receive, or store illegal, harmful, or abusive content;
• Facilitate fraud, phishing, spam, or unauthorized access to any system;
• Harass, threaten, impersonate, or defraud any person or organisation;
• Circumvent security, rate limits, or abuse protections;
• Evade a ban, suspension, or any other enforcement action;
• Resell or overload the Service through automated means;
• Violate the terms of any third-party service you sign up to using an address from the Service.

Automated access for legitimate testing and development is permitted within published rate limits and provided it does not degrade the Service for others.

4. No confidentiality

Anonymous temporary inboxes are not secure or private. Anyone who knows an address can read its messages, and messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Never use the Service for sensitive, financial, medical, or important accounts, or for any account you may need to recover later.

5. Accounts

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information when registering, do not share your account, and notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Abuse reporting & enforcement

If you believe the Service is being used to harm you or others, or that content accessible through it infringes your rights, report it via our contact page with enough detail for us to investigate. We may remove content, block addresses, restrict access, or suspend accounts where we reasonably believe these Terms or the law have been breached, and we may cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and written content, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from it except as permitted by these Terms or applicable law. We do not claim ownership of the contents of email messages you receive.

8. Browser extensions

Our browser extensions are provided under these Terms and under the additional rules of the stores that distribute them. They communicate only with tempmailpad.com, and you may uninstall them at any time. Store distribution and availability are outside our control.

9. Third-party services

The Service may link to or rely on third-party services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that party’s own terms and privacy policy.

10. Availability & changes

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any message will be delivered or retained. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, and messages may be lost or deleted.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost messages arising from your use of the Service. Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable legal costs arising out of your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or that doing so is necessary to protect the Service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of the Service is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-law provisions, or of the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, where applicable law so provides.

15. General

These Terms, together with the policies referenced in them, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent version, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
